There is a difference in the information provided for a moot to that provided for a coven. If someone showed interest in joining a coven they are likely to meet them first in a neutral venue to discuss compatibilities, what they do and what they are looking for before deciding whether to invite them to the group. As such, details of where and when meetings are held are not included save for the general location. Moots generally advertise their meetings and meeting places for friendly open discussions. Coventry Pagan Moot
The Coventry Pagan Moot takes place on the first Thursday of each month, from 7pm till 9pm at The Golden Cross, 8 Hay Lane, Coventry, CV1 5RF.
The evenings contain talks/presentations covering various subjects within the Pagan path, and a socialising time, giving you the opportunity to meet with like minded people and share experiences.
There is no cost to come along, and there will be a raffle to raise funds for future projects.

The meetings or Moots as they are more commonly known offer an 'alternative venue' for people interested in Paganism to chat about their experiences and opinions freely, without prejudice, politics or proselytism.
