Come and help us celebrate at the first camp of the season, Ostara, our festival to celebrate the season's change from dark winter to brightening spring. Ostara is the Spring Equinox, it marks the time when the sun passes over the celestial equator. This is the time to celebrate the end of dark and the start of new growth. In honour of the Anglo Saxon goddess Ostara we plant seeds, nurture saplings and encourage the young plants to grow towards the light and the sun. It is a time of rejoicing the re-birth of the land and is often celebrated by feasting, traditionally on eggs. We are holding it in the field with our own stone circle overlooking us from the hillside.
The facilities include a toilet and shower block, beautiful glamping pods and glamped up bell tents are available at extra cost, please ask for further details.
There will be a campfire every evening so bring your drums and guitars along with stories and songs to sing. We will hold our ritual on Saturday afternoon to celebrate Ostara, All are welcome to join us.
Dog and husband friendly but of course both must be kept on a lead at all times 😉
Traders are very welcome to come along. Please message Jayne or Sky with stall details by inbox. No extra charge for stall space.
